The Hunt Is On…
The Quest for the Golden Spike
NEFBA is looking for members to help "spearhead" our upcoming one-day National Membership Drive on May 20th, themed
"The Big Hunt."
NEFBA is looking for hunters to team up with a 'Tribe
(i.e.: Sales & Marketing Council, Remodelers Council, St. Johns
Builders Council, Nassau Builders Council, Clay Builders
Council, Membership Committee and Board of Directors) to
help capture new members.
On April 30th from 11a.m. to 1p.m. at the NEFBA office,
Alan Baggett, FHBA membership director, will be teaching
new tools on how to bring in the BIG GAME! A feast will be
provided to help kick-off this adventure!
At that meeting a day in May will be established for hunters
to call prospective "prey" members and sign them up as new
members of NEFBA!
NAHB has various prizes to award to members who
bring in 1, 2 or 3 members. NEFBA also has prizes to
hand out to the 'Tribe' that brings in the most new members,
and the individual hunter who personally recruits the most new members. If you would like to donate a gift card (i.e. gas gift card) please contact Ashley Bizzarri. Recognition will be given.
To attend the feast on April 30th you must RSVP to Ashley
Bizzarri, membership director at (904) 725.4355 ext. 233 or

NEFBA Member Benefits
"This year our goals will focus on maintaining membership. We want to challenge our members to get more involved. As new and current NEFBA members become involved, they will be more educated on issues that affect our industry. Therefore, they can make decisions that are more informed."
Mark Downing, NEFBA President
Networking
- With more than 2,000 members, NEFBA is the association that allows you to team up and form long-term partnerships with local tradesmen and women who also belong to our association.
- NEFBA provides multiple ways for you to meet and build relationships with other builders, associates and affiliates through participating in special events and serving on committees and special interest and geographic councils (Sales & Marketing Council, Remodelers Council and the Clay, Nassau and St. Johns Builders Councils).
Powerful Advocacy
- NEFBA works hard for its members. Over the past three years NEFBA has spent approximately $750,000 on public relations for the “It’s a great time to buy” campaign in Northeast Florida.
- Currently, a major governmental affairs issue is the Hometown Democracy Referendum. NEFBA is heavily involved in the statewide campaign to fight this anti-growth initiative. We want our industry to thrive in Northeast Florida. If this referendum is passed, it will cripple economic growth in our state.
Three-in-one Membership
- When you join NEFBA, you automatically become a full member of the state and national home builders associations. That’s three memberships for the price of one. Let us help you find the resources that will make your membership investment beneficial.
Educational Programs
- In our competitive market, setting yourself apart from your competitors is the key to success. NEFBA’s educational programs for members provide the tools you need to give you that edge.
Member Discounts
- Members doing business with members! Many NEFBA members give other members discounts. On a local level, many NEFBA insurance agency members have comprehensive and competitive insurance products for members. On a national level, your membership entitles you to discounts from Dell computers, GM, Hertz and Pitney Bowes, to name just a few.
Community Involvement
NEFBA has a vested interest in new growth, education and the preservation of Northeast Florida. Builders Care and the Apprentice Program are two of the many ways NEFBA shows its support for our community.
- Builders Care, a nonprofit division of NEFBA, is committed to reducing substandard housing by providing repair services to seriously deteriorated homes belonging to low-income, elderly and disabled residents of our community.
- The Apprentice Program is celebrating 33 years of service to the individuals and companies training the future workforce of the construction industry in Northeast Florida.
