The August Board of Directors meeting for members will be at the JAXPort Marine Terminal on Blount Island. A continental breakfast starts at 8:30 a.m. Special parking arrangements and further details will be provided. Allow 15 minutes for the security check. For security reasons, YOU MUST notify Nellie Flynn by Friday, Aug. 15 if you plan to attend. If you’re NOT on the list you WILL NOT be admitted into the facility.

This year’s Tailgate at the Gridiron gala promises to be among the most exciting events on the NEFBA calendar. An overview of key green building features that affect building performance and provisions of the Florida Building Code. Green building certification programs are discussed, including but not limited to, USGBC’s LEED for Homes, NAHB Green Building Standards, DOE/EPA Energy Star and FGBC’s Green Homes Standard. Univ. of Florida will teach this course at JEA’s conservation center, 970 N. Main St. from 8 to 5, July 22 and July 23. 14 CEUs.
